The photos show: Johnny & Mark on the Mersey ferry-you'll notice Mark has bravely removed his lycra leggings to reveal, I'm sure you'll all agree, a strong pair of pins! (top), the Mersey ferry-the Royal Lily-with Liverpool in the background (top/middle), Christleton canal (bottom/middle) & Stretton water mill (bottom).
They made it safely to Whitchurch, but their B&B is a smidge further West, so they have actually strayed into Wales for the night; they had thought they wouldn't be entering the land of the red dragon for another 2 days yet!
Good to hear of your continuing progress, and love the photos, but... shouldn't you have been cycling up and down that promenade deck, rather than posing as tourists? Hmmm! I'm beginning to suspect an affinity with that film about the fake moon landing, Capricorn One. Where are the photos of two sweat-soaked, worn out cyclists actually on their bikes? I reckon that mascot is doing all the work. I'm tempted to join you, just to check.
